light, moderate or severe.

earthmoving equipment and specialised vehicles.

History
and Commitment
For
a number of years, Ted Allen was a Senior Evening Lecturer at Croydon
College where he taught Engineers from a variety of Insurance Companies
and other Independents in preparation for their final examination of the
Institute of Automotive Engineer Assessors. This work he did in addition
to running E J Allen & Associates. The subjects covered were Motor
Vehicle Law and Insurance in addition to Automobile Assessing. He still
keeps his hand in on the Assessing front and this helps him to keep the
firm in the forefront of modern developments.
Ted Allen has served periods of office as Secretary and Chairman of the
London Region of the Institute of Automotive Engineer Assessors
as well as having served on the National Committee of the Institute.
All our engineers are qualified and sent on Thatcham
courses to update their Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
Automobile Assessing is an important part of
the service offered by E J Allen & Associates and this
is why all our engineers are involved in accident damage inspections,
and why we continue to invest in equipment, computers and software related
to Automobile Assessing so that we have the best tools to provide quality
reports at competitive fees.
